Hamilton & District Extend-A-Family has a zero tolerance policy regarding any act that knowingly and willingly denies diverse individuals access to opportunities and positive outcomes with our organization.


Our Strategic Plan

The Strategic Plan outlines the long and short term goals of Hamilton & District Extend-A-Family as they have been determined by its Board of Directors in conjunction with its Executive Director.


Concussion Policy

Safety and overall welfare of children, volunteers and staff are a priority for the activities offered at Extend-A-Family. The concussion safety protocols must be followed by all staff/volunteers and children in our program.


Harassment Policy

This policy applies to Extend-A-Family programs, facilities, and events and to all clients and guests as well as activities that are structured and unstructured. All clients, staff and volunteers have the right to be safe and feel safe while attending programs.


Volunteer Screening Process

This process ensures that all members in a position of trust are aware of Extend-A-Family’s code of conduct and of the obligation to plan for and deliver programs in a safe manner.
